Programme of the 9^th IFK in Aachen

Symposium on 24 March 2014

On Monday, 24 March 2014, the IFK begins with an international symposium providing a platform for fundamentals and interactive demonstrations. The workshop will take place at  Eurogress in Aachen. The Symposium language is English.

Opening evening on 24 March 2014

On 24 March 2014, 7 pm, an informal opening event will take place in the foyer of the Eurogress. Trade fair and conference office will be open as well. Conference papers can be picked up if not already done so during the Symposium.

Conference from 25 to 26 March 2014

The conference on Tuesday 25 March and Wednesday 26 March 2014 will be held in the Eurogress in Aachen. The lectures will be given in English or German language. Simultaneous translation of the German contributions into the English language will be provided.

Scientific Poster Session from 24 to 26 March 2014

Parallel to the oral presentations there will be a scientific poster session in the gallery of the Eurogress. Current research results of industry and research will be illustrated on large poster and you can get in direct contact to the authors to discuss the content.

Conference Banquet on 25 March 2014

The conference banquet is scheduled for Tuesday evening, 25 March 2014, 7 - 10 pm, in the Coronation Hall of the Aachen town hall. A rich banquet accompanied by the traditional entertainment programme performed by the IFAS staff promises a memorable social event. The banquet will be followed by an after show party with cool beverages and snacks in the Aula Carolina starting at 10 pm.

Laboratory Party on 26 March 2014

On Wednesday evening, 26 March 2014, 7 pm, all participants and accompanying persons are invited to visit the IFAS laboratory for a post-conference party with snacks and free beverages.

Excursion from 27 to 28 March 2014

After the conference, there will be a two days excursion to some companies and places of technical interest.

Cultural Programme

For accompanying persons there will be a cultural programme during the conference.
